On the 14th of August 2017, AWC had the pleasure to welcome the Chinese Delegation from Bureau of Reservoir Immigration Development of Hunan Province, Shaoyang City and Zhang Jiajie City at AWC Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

The "China Delegation Orientation Session" aimed to discuss possible areas of Cooperation between the two parties in the future. During the session, AWC had the chance to present current water challenges in the MENA region and the use of advanced technologies to better understand the Condition of water resource management and irrigation. It was also an opportunity to Exchange management experience between China and Egypt and to discuss the condition of reservoir development and reservoir immigrant settlement, as well as possible areas of cooperation in reservoir immigrant projects.
